welcome to the english village

after leaving heyri art village, we took a short bus ride to the neighbouring paju english village.an english village is simply an english language with an entire world built around it to provide an immersive experience. the english architecture style is meant to transport students into a whole another world and inspire the learning experience. there are restaurants, post offices, banks, buses to provide children with real-life scenarios to practice their english skills. however, to tell the truth, while in theory, an english village is an awesome concept,  something has gone very wrong in its execution. the streets are empty, most buildings are empty shells and the children speak korean everywhere. the place is really pretty though and this is a place that one should visit only if you need a break from the city and just a quiet afternoon wandering around "europe".
