Goodbye Taipei

Some snaps from my last day.

And guess what, I am headed back to Taiwan for a proper solo adventure this October. I am finally NOT going to Taipei but heading to Kaohsiung in the south. Travelling solo is a goal I set for myself this year and I am very excited that I am making it happen!

Sculpture by the Sea, Part 2

These artworks were found on the hill-top clearing between Bondi and Tamarama beaches. I love how these set of artworks seem to be chosen for how witty they are.

Sculpture by the Sea, Part 1

The reason we were at Bondi Beach was to visit Sculpture by the Sea, an annual art festival that transforms the coastal walk between Bondi Beach and Tamarama Beach into a sculpture park. We started from the Bondi Beach end, and these are some of the sculptures we encountered at the beginning of the trail. I love how the artists for this set of sculptures really worked with the spots they were given and created sculptures that belonged rather than something that was plonked down. More pictures to come in the next few posts.

Bondi, Red & Blue

Two different type of films used to snap almost the same scene. Which one do you like better? Me, I like the redscale one.

cafe below the stairs

this cafe is literally accessible only by going down a set of stairs from the hotel's dining room. as far as i am concerned, this cafe was perfect. it was just a few steps away from my hotel room, it overlooks the surf, serves great food and great drinks, all at a great price.
