unlike other temples built high into the mountains, haedong yonggungsa is a rare one, built next to the sea. it's about a 20 minutes bus ride from the main street of haeundae and another 20 minute hike from the bus stop. all that exertion was worth it because this is quite the most dramatic location for a temple that i have ever seen.
