bukchon is not only residential, it is also a haven for artists. we were strolling through the streets when we chanced upon a small gallery set in between residential houses. we peeped in and were invited by the artist herself to take a look around. the last two photographs are of her artworks. the dandelions flowers are amazingly intricate, they are really little sequins stuck onto pins that are then stuck onto styrofoam balls. i was blown away by the meticulousness of the artist in making sure the pins are evenly distributed to form that perfect sphere. the loofah in the last picture is humongous! it took up the whole of the room and was also handcrafted by the artist. so pretty...
